3rd - 4th STARTREK An annual team orienteering trek across Exmoor. The teams start from a secret location just as it gets dark and navigate the walk until dawn - all for charity.

27th 6th (May) NORTH DEVON & EXMOOR WALKING FESTIVAL The Spring walking festival is becoming so big in the area it covers, this year it will be split in two. The first half will be the North Devon section from the 29th April 3rd May inclusive then moving across to Exmoor from the 5th May 8th May inclusive. A choice of guided and self-guided walks.

1st NORTH DEVON SHOW The annual event is a celebration of North Devon's agricultural roots. A host of livestock classes occupy the arenas throughout the day, including show jumping, dog show, attractions, displays, demonstrations and trade stands.
8th RESCUE DAY Britain's biggest emergency services live display day. Air-sea rescues, real fires and a roof being cut off a car. An unforgettable day of family action including static displays, trampolines and a climbing wall.
