14th RESCUE DAY  – Britain's biggest emergency services live display day.  Air-sea rescues, real fires and a roof being cut off a car.  An unforgettable day of family action including static displays, trampolines and a climbing wall.

23rd – 26^th -   SUN WEST BEER FESTIVAL (The Landmark Theatre) – The Landmark Beer Festival's younger sister enjoys as much popularity and perhaps even more sunshine as it spans the August Bank Holiday weekend.  Free admission to catch some quality music performances by acts from the South West and beyond.
